Police say man killed father, grandfather is on the run www.privateofficer.com

Decatur GA. Dec. 31, 2007 The man sought by Decatur police for the Sunday afternoon slayings of his father and grandfather has had scrapes with the law for about five years.
Miller William Jordan III, 22, is wanted for killing his father, Miller Jordan Jr., an assistant principal at an Athens high school, and his grandfather, Miller Jordan Sr., at the father's home on the edge of downtown Decatur.
The cause of death, police said, appears to be stab wounds. Police were looking for him as of Monday afternoon, and had been searching residential motels along Lawrenceville Highway near I-285 in DeKalb County where Jordan was last known to live.
He was believed to have been driving a green 2001 Nissan Altima with Georgia tags 4484 AMR.
"We have dealt with him on domestic disturbances and also burglary complaints at [his father's] house and other locations," said J.K. Lee, assistant police chief for the city of Decatur.
Jordan has been charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing, burglary, rape and child molestation over the years, court records show. Most of the charges were dropped, but he pleaded guilty to a 2004 burglary and was sentenced to 90 days in jail plus probation. His probation later was revoked after he was arrested again. He served about six months in jail. He was released in March 2007.
Lee said he understood that the victims were found by Gale Jordan, who is Jordan Jr.'s wife, and their two daughters. They were not present at the time of the killings, Lee said. Gale Jordan is an assistant principal at a Barrow County elementary school.
