PALM SPRINGS, CA. JUNE 13 2007- Local police confirmed today that four suspects, two adults and two juviniles are in custody in connection with the severe beating and robbery over the week- end of security officer Wallace Brown while he was on duty at a construction site. The four approached the guard with the intent of robbing him police say and then plumeted him with rocks, fists, and feet and possibly other weapons. Brown is currently on life-support at the Desert Regional Medical Center. Jamar Thomas, 18, Darius Lee, 18 and two others are said to be part of the area crip gang and are facing serious felony charges which will be upgraded to murder or possible capital murder should Mr. Brown pass away from his injuries.
