The rush for the new apple IPhone is on nationwide and retailers everywhere have had to hire security and police officers to control crowds and prevent any type of disturbances or thefts. At one mall in Atlanta Georgia, shoppers lined up at 5am and stood in long lines through-out the day in 95 degree weather. Most of them did not let the heat chase them away and security reported no incidents at that location while more than 300 people waited for the 6pm purchase time.
There have been several reports of minor skirmishes and a few medical incidents in other states but so far no major problems have been reported.
The new Apple Iphone retails for about $500.00 and is the all in one phone which includes web access, phone, digital camera, video, electronic daytimer and other cool gadgets.
