GUARD ARRESTED FOR SHOOTING INTO VEHICLE by; Rick McCann www.privateofficer.com

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - July 25 2007 The Richland County Sheriff says there’s concern about safety in the Two Notch area after shots were fired at two night clubs in three days.
Erik Howard now wears a bullet-proof vest to work. Last weekend he was caught in the middle of gunfire at Stilletto’s Gentleman’s Club on Two Notch Road. It started after Howard says he found a stripper performing a sex act on a customer.
Howard says, “When we got her outside we tried to arrest her, manager tried to arrest her and that’s when she decided to run to her car.”
Howard’s managers told him to stop the stripper from leaving. “Right when I turned around I saw her going for glove box. She pulled out a gun and fired two shots. That’s when my armed guard stepped in and told her to put down gun.”
Howard says the dancer got in her car. That’s when the armed guard shot at her vehicle as she drove away.
The Richland County Sheriff says both the guard and the stripper will be charged.
