Hotel guest reports rape by security www.privateofficer.com

ONTARIO CA. Dec. 26, 2007 - Police responded to a call of a woman who said she was raped and robbed at a hotel early Monday.
Just after 3 a.m., Ontario police arrived at the building in the 1200 block of North Grove Avenue and met a 25-year-old female who said she was confronted by a man at her front door.
She said he told her he was a security guard.
Once inside, he took her identification and her money and then raped her, police said.
Previously, the man was seen by a parking lot surveillance camera when the woman was in the lot, police said. Police reports say that the suspect was not wearing any type of uniform or if he flashed a badge or identification when he knocked at the victim's door.
The suspect was described as a male Latino, 25 to 35 years old, with short dark hair and a short goatee. He was wearing a black or dark coat, black shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Police are checking with the hotel to see if the man was employed there but at this time it does not look like he was.

Contact Detective Mark Ortiz at the police Sex Crime Unit, (909) 986-6711, to provide any information on this incident.
