Police say they are looking at footage from security cameras and may soon make an arrest. Ventura leaves behind a wife and two children, 4&7 years old.QUEENS, NY.
AWALI KHOUROUPA, 52 A private officer who jumped onto a fleeing truck as the two shoplifters attempted to get away, has died of his injuries. Officer Khouroupa sustained multiple injuries and had been in critical condition for the past few days. Locals are calling him a hero for his actions to stop the thieves and city police have arrested a suspect in the case.
