Walmart shoppers/employees overcome by fumes www.privateofficer.com

LENOIR CITY TN. DEC. 31, 2007 -- Nine customers and three employees of the Wal-Mart in Lenoir City were taken to hospitals Monday afternoon after complaining of irritated eyes and throats.
The store on Highway 321 was closed for about two hours although Hazmat crews haven't found any problems with the air quality.
A fire official says the people were taken to be checked as a precautionary measure.
Police say they got calls about the problems around 3:50 p.m.
The affected area was by the store's photo booth. People complained of watery eyes and irritated throats.
Workers at Wal-Mart tell the fire department they weren't doing anything out of the ordinary at the photo booth.
Store management is cooperating with the investigation.
