ATLANTA GEORGIA, JUNE 21 2007 19:45.......We have an update on the story that we broke over the week -end about a virtual memorial for fallen security officers.
Mr. Richard McCann, President of http://www.privateofficer.com/ has stated that he and the Chairman of the National Association of Private Officers hope to have the memorial on line within the next two weeks. We are pleased to announce that our web designers have already created the memorial and are currently listing the names of the security officers who have been killed in the line of duty over the past few years. It has really come together faster than we thought it would. We encourage anyone who either knows of a security officer who was killed while doing their job or who knows of a situation that we should check out to please email adminassist@privateofficer.com.
We are working just as diligently to fund a brick and mortar museum and memorial in the Atlanta area and we invite all input into this project McCann further stated.
