GRIFFIN, Ga. Dec. 30, 2007 -- Officials said four people, including two children, were killed in a mud-bogging accident Friday night.
The Georgia State Patrol says a SUV full of people slammed into two trees and burst into flames.
Four people were killed including two young children. Authorities say the deceased victims are Susanna Guffey, 24, who was driving the Ford Bronco; Christina Caldwell, 36; Guffey's 2-year-old son, Lucas Ross; and Zoe Jayde Flick, 4.
Guffey's 4-year-old son, Brody, sustained minor injuries in the accident Friday night and was later released from Sylvan Grove Hospital in nearby Jackson.
Another passenger, Tammy Flick -- the mother of Zoe -- remains in stable condition at Atlanta Medical Center with a broken leg.
Neither is believed to have life-threatening injuries.
Troopers believe the SUV was travelling at a high rate of speed when it crashed.
Investigators are waiting on lab results to determine if alcohol was also a factor.

Troopers caution parents not to take children on off road drives, bogging, four-wheeling and such because it is extremely dangerous and often fatal when accidents do occur. It is also vitally important that all participants wear their seatbelts and even helmets when driving through off road areas or mud-bogging.

Mud bogging is especially popular in the south and can be very dangerous.
