SEATTLE WA. JUNE 22 2007 8:00PM……..Police and fire- rescue personnel spent Friday night searching the Spokane River for a man that security officers were chasing prior to him jumping into the river. Security personnel chased the man they say was half naked through the Riverfront Park before he went into the river. Police are not sure what prompted the man to run around half naked or if he was under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
Rescue workers called off their search early Saturday morning saying that at this point they are considering this a body recovery and no longer a search and rescue.
A passer-by took several pictures of the person in the water but as of yet he has not been identified yet.
