Loss Prevention Officer Injured During Apprehension www.privateofficer.com

A security agent at a Butler County department store was injured trying to apprehend a would-be thief Saturday evening.
Kristian Stephen Karschner, 25, suffered a head injury when David Homer Tack, 42, no address available, started to fight with him while trying to flee the Boscov's department store at Clearview Mall, Center, with two boxes of cookware, police said. Karschner was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital and released.
State police arrived as was able to take Tack into custody and arrested Tack and said he was carrying two crack pipes and a syringe as well.

Tack faces numerous felonies and is jailed pending a court date.
